Just wanted to ask-
My neutrophils have dropped consistently over a period of time and I have been advised to reduce mtx to 15mg per week since 30.5.10. (I am also on infliximab infusions – latest one 22.6.10) Since reducing mtx I have had almost daily swollen joints, whereas before it was only perhaps fortnightly. Could this mean infliximab isn’t working or could the occurrences be due to reduction of mtx.
Today – my left hand is unable to open and is aching like mad - it was my knee - up like a balloon last week!
Would be interested to hear of anyone else’s experience when reducing mtx?

also developed an annoying cough and minor sore throat- but no cold?
